Developer Ron Janeczko and builder Chris Nelson are partners in Landworks Development, LLC. Together they combine land planning and site development skills with the construction experience and knowledge of a second-generation builder.

The result has been a series of highly successful communities in the Farmington Valley. The Landworks / C. Nelson Construction team have garnered many awards from the Connecticut Home Builders Association. These awards include "Best Development in Connecticut" in 1995 for Cornerstone, "Community of the Year" in 2001 for Somersby, and "Best Traditional Community" in 2003 for Garden Gate.
